The real Gabriel Allon

For those of you who missed the NYC event, the real Gabriel Allon came and signed books with Daniel at the Barnes and Noble stop. In real life, meet David Bull one of the world's finest art restorers who has taught Daniel so much about the world of art restoration. As Daniel introduced him, "he does not have a Hebrew accent, but an English one... but he does speak lovely Italian." And as far as we know he is not a spy! Hope you all enjoy!

Mr. Silva, you must smile more on your book jackets. When you smile you see your soul. When you are stone-faced, well you are not being your true self I imagine. I'm an admirer and so appreciate how much work you put into your masterpieces! Blessings and Peace, Minda.

I see your point, but I think the cool, sophisticated look suits the type of books Silva writes better. And I definitely agree with you: Fantastic books. Love every single one of them. And Gabriel Allon feels like a friend.

I've read all your books, including your latest, Moscow Rules. I enjoyed all of them! But my favorite of all is The Confessor. I adore both your main characters, Gabriel Allon and Michael Osbourne. I'm looking forward to your next novel.

I have to personally thank my wife for getting into Daniel Silva books. We were waiting in an airport in St Maarten to go home and she took the book I was reading and told me to find something else to read. I wandered into one of the bookstores in the airport and came across The Secret Servent. After reading it I had to get my hands on the other Gabriel Allon books. After reading each one, I crave the following one. The Gabriel Allon series is absolutley amazing. Keep up the great work Daniel.

I'm from Italy and I have only enjoyed "L'Inglese" (The English Assassin)from Mondadori and now I'm reading "The messenger" from Vertigo. I'm seeking for "Il restauratore" (The kill artist I guess) but it's now out of print from Mondadori... Why italian editors do not translate more of Gabriel Allon series books? They are super.

I have to thank my co-worker for introducing me to your books. I am presently reading your 5th book, The English Assassin. As with all your books, they are all page turners and leave a reader with a desire to read on and on until the book is finished. I commend you on the abundance of knowledge and research that you bring into your novels. Superior reading!

Hi, Mr. Silva. I'm a high school student from Malaysia. I've been reading your books since I was 15 and I must say that none of them disappoints me. Your novels are the finest a person can possess given the information rich storyline and interesting plots. Regardless of how complicated the story is[esp in Gabriel Allon's] you managed to retain reader's interest and flow smoothly throughout the novel.

I must also say that your fine works have given me inspirations and made me think more maturely as well as developing my foreign affairs interest.

Above all I'm very impressed by your work [and I think fellow readers share the same thought as mine] and keep it up, Mr.Silva. May God Bless You.

My comment is really a question: will your new book "The Defector" also be published on Sony e-Book?
I love to read books on the e-Book, but in your case I will read anything you write in any form.
I have read all your books, in fact I own a copy of each one. My family knows that when I read a new Silva book, I am lost to the world.

Thank you for taking me into another world and guiding me safely through it.

Beate

Hi Mr Silva,
Quite by accident, I got a hold of one of your books ()Gabirel Allon series) and I got hooked!!! Now I can't wait for the others to be published or availble in my library. I have read them in no particular order but it does not matter - each one stands on its own. Your books are a fanstastic read. Looking forward to new ones. Good luck to you and your family.

Mr. Silva
I am a huge fan. The first book I read was, "The Messenger". One of the clinic doctors left it on our breakroom table for anyone to read. Fortunately for me, no one else picked it up. I have read "The Messenger" twice. Since then, I have read your other novels except "the Unlikely Spy". I am awaiting the release of your newest one, "The Defector". Thank you for your gift of writing. It has taken me to places I have never been. Your books are my escape especially since I take the bus & subway to work.

Mr. Silva,
I am thrilled to learn of the next Allon book, The Defector. I have read them all and am madly in love with Gabriel Allon. I have not read your other books but will. I have never enjoyed a series so much. By the way, I like your serious look on the book jackets. You look uncannily like Gustav Mahler. Check it out.

Mr. Silva, your books have been a great source of valuable entertainment and me time. Mother of two, married to a wonderful hotel manager who works tremendously long hours, living in an Austrian ski resort, while missing the U.S. and my favorite books stores, I have been waiting patiently since February for my copy of the Defector to get here. You have been my favorite author since I 2004 and I hope that Gabron Allon lives on as does Shamron. Looking forward to more as the winters are long here :) Thank you for your wonderful talent!

I have read all of the Gabriel Allon books and you feel like you are part of the action and that you personally know the characters, I find that now I have read them all its very difficult to get any interest in any other books, I sincerely hope a 10th book is on the way

I am now finishing your latest novel "The Defector" and cannot wait until this summer when the next Gabriel Allon story appears. I started to become fan of yours when I purchased "Prince of Fire" ontape to listen to when I drove to Florida last year. Then a friend gave me "The Unlikely Spy" and since October of this year I have now read all your books in order except for Mark of the Assassin and the Marching Season" as I followed the explloits of Gabriel Allon and I cannot wait until the next comes out. All the books are full of history and details of Israel and Europe. Keep up the writing as I will eagerly await the next adventures.
